Since 2011

Most agencies ship code. We ship things you stop worrying about.

Birxment is the team companies call when the project is too important to hand off to whoever's cheapest. Fintech, healthcare, logistics, enterprise: wherever the stakes are real.

Why we exist

Turn what you need into something that actually ships, and actually holds

Good ideas die in the gap between "we want this" and "we can ship this." That gap is usually where companies lose months. We exist to close that gap properly: senior engineering, real accountability, and the judgment to tell you when an idea needs rethinking before it needs code.

"If we wouldn't trust it with our own product, we don't ship it with yours."

How we actually operate, not a poster on the wall
What we won't compromise on

Four rules. No exceptions, no matter the deadline.

01
Security comes first, literallyIt's the first conversation, not the last sprint. Retrofitting security is how breaches happen.
02
If we build it, we own it"No, that's a different team's problem." The people who designed it are the people who fix it at 2am.
03
Bad news travels fast hereWe'd rather tell you something's wrong in week two than let you find out in production.
04
We write code we'd want to inheritBecause three years from now, we usually are the ones maintaining it.
How we got here

Nobody plans fourteen years. You just keep showing up.

2011
The start

Only projects we could see through completely.

A handful of senior engineers, tired of watching agencies overpromise and underdeliver, decided to only take projects they could see through completely. That rule never changed.

2014
The project that taught us discipline

Regulatory requirements nobody warned us about.

A multi-currency back-office system with regulatory requirements nobody warned us about going in. We learned fast, and that lesson became the standard for everything after.

2017
Going all-in on cloud

AWS and containers, not because it was the trend.

We rebuilt our entire practice around AWS and containers, not because it was the trend, but because anything less wasn't going to hold up at the scale our clients needed.

2020
Becoming the fintech people

We made fintech specialization official.

After enough banking and payment platforms, the pattern was obvious: we'd quietly become specialists. So we made it official: PCI-DSS, KYC/AML, the full stack of bank-grade security work.

2022
The year that proved the model

Three major builds, three continents, all running at once.

Three major builds, three continents, all running at once. Same standards, same ownership, zero corners cut. That's the year we stopped wondering if we could scale the way we work.

2026
Right now

50+ applications shipped. Every single one still live.

50+ applications shipped. Every single one still live. We don't measure success by launch day, we measure it by whether it's still running three years later.

How we work

A process you can trust.

From first conversation to live deployment: a structured, transparent workflow with no surprises, no handoffs, and no gaps.
01

Scope

We define the real problem before touching the roadmap. Most projects fail here, not in code.

02

Architect

AI-assisted system design means faster iteration on what actually scales.

03

Build

Senior engineers, AI-accelerated workflows, weekly demos, and you watch it take shape in real time.

04

Ship

Zero-downtime deploys, monitored from minute one.

05

Evolve

We don't disappear post-launch, we keep tuning as your data tells us what's next.

Where we've actually worked

Not a logo wall. Scar tissue.

You can read about an industry, or you can have shipped fourteen years of production systems in it. We've done the second one.

01

FinTech

We've sat in the room when a compliance officer asks "what happens if this fails mid-transaction." We have an answer.

02

Healthcare

Clinical workflows don't forgive sloppy software. We've built systems where a bug isn't an inconvenience and it's a patient.

03

Banking

Legacy infrastructure, real regulation, zero tolerance for downtime. This is where "move fast and break things" goes to die and where we've thrived instead.

04

Logistics

Real-time tracking across a fleet that doesn't stop moving for your deployment window. We've built for that pressure.

05

SaaS

We've watched products break at the scale they were hoping for. We architect so that growth is the easy problem, not the one that takes the system down.

06

Enterprise

The unglamorous, business-critical systems that never make a pitch deck but keep an entire company running.

Global presence

Built across continents. Delivered as one team.

Engineering hubs in London, Calgary, and Chiba. Same process, same standards, and direct access to the people building your product.

What it's actually like

We're not for everyone. That's the point.

We work best with people who already know that "fast and cheap" usually means "slow and expensive" by the time it ships. If that's not you, we'll say so honestly in the first call, not after you've signed.

01

You'll see real progress, not promises

Every two weeks, a working demo. Not a deck. Not a status email. Software you can click through.

02

We explain ourselves

When we make a call, you'll know why. When we push back on something, you'll see our reasoning and not just a "trust us."

03

We actually answer

One business day, every time, for every question and it's a real answer, not a placeholder reply to buy time.

04

The docs are real

Architecture notes and runbooks written so the next engineer, yours or ours isn't guessing.

Let's build something together

Got something worth building properly?

Tell us what you're working on. We read every message ourselves, and you'll hear back within a day, no bots, no sales script.
